Project #9

Medical Emergency Relief for Christian Iraqis

About Project #9

Due to the crisis with our Iraqi Christians we have created MERCI (Medical Emergency Relief for Christian Iraqis). The Chaldean-American medical community, which consists of the Chaldean-American Association for Health Professionals (CAAHP) has formed a partnership with medical practitioners in Iraq.

Merci has acknowledged at least seven clinics that are in dire need of medical assistance and is working thoroughly to get more clinics up and running. MERCI is asking for everyone’s continued support.

MERCI Is Helping

MERCI has allowed these clinics to care for about 120 people a day. All of their patients are refugees who have been forced to flee their homes.

The St. Joseph Church Clinic in specific has 20 volunteers, 7 male doctors, 7 female doctors and 5 pharmacists. Working Monday – Friday from 10am – 12pm and returning from 4pm – 7pm.

About Project 9

MERCI would like to extend its gratitude and also ask for more of your help. MERCI has created a $20 program to make it more convenient for people to donate on a monthly basis to continue funding these clinics. Donations can be made online or by mail:
